The world has changed and we are beginning to comprehend more about the way people learn and what motivates the person. It is essential to understand what motivates you before you are able to start the journey to success. Once you begin comprehending what it is you are passionate about, what motivates you, what causes a genuine interest and excitement then you are ready to start setting realistic and attainable goals.
Why bother with setting goals
Our world is a very busy world and there are thousands of distractions.
It is possible to never allow yourself to focus upon anything deep enough to grow.
Many people continue with the same thoughts, the same habits and the same work routines throughout most of their adult life.
To move out of this state of inertia a plan must be set in place.

If the goal is huge then you need to break it down into smaller goals to stay in a specific time measurement.
To be successful at goal setting you need to stay motivated. The motivation needs to come from deep within you. To have this motivation and maintain it you need to go about setting very personal goals. You need to write them so that you understand exactly what it is you desire to achieve. Your goals must be about your dreams and passions. Understand why you are setting goals, understand the specifics of your goals and definitely understand when you have reached your goals, for that is time to celebrate.
